How do I prepare for my procedure?

  • You will receive instructions from your doctor’s office when you schedule your procedure.
  • You may need to start the preparation for your procedure 24-48 hours before your appointment, so please read these instructions a couple of days ahead of time so your procedure is successful.
  • Play close attention to when to stop drinking ALL fluids.

What do I need to bring to my appointment?

  • Photo ID and current Insurance Card(s)
  • List of current medications (including dosage and how often you take them)
  • List of medical conditions and surgical history
  • Form of payment for any amount that is due (see “Will I have to pay anything at my appointment?”)

Can I drive myself home after my procedure?

  • No. You are going to receive sedation medicine and will not be able to drive for the rest of the day.
  • You must have someone with you that is at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license to drive you home. That person needs to remain at the facility the entire time.
  • If you are going home by medical transport, you must still have someone with you at the facility and to go home with you.

Will I have to pay anything at my appointment?

  • We will notify you before your appointment of any amount due after we verify benefits with your insurance.
  • We collect upfront any copay, coinsurance and/or deductible that is due.
  • We accept all major credit/debit cards and cash payments.
  • We DO NOT accept personal checks or Care Credit.

How long will my procedure take?

  • You will be at the facility about 1 ½-2 hours.
  • Your procedure(s) will take about 15–45 minutes, depending on the type of procedure(s) being done.
  • You must check-in 1 hour before your scheduled appointment time to have enough time to complete paperwork and to get you ready for your procedure(s).
  • The recover time is about 20-30 minutes after your procedure, but it could take longer.

What should I wear to my appointment?

  • Comfortable clothing that is easy to change into after your procedure.
  • Socks (to keep you warm) and shoes that are easy to walk in.
  • For women, a bra without metal.
  • ALL jewelry needs to be removed and left at home
